In March TEES will be holding their AGM and prizegiving. Date will be provided soon. This makes it a good time to think about volunteering to help on the committee or with any events the clubs host. The new committee will be elected at the AGM. Details about positions will be posted in a special notice out soon. The more parents that help out the lighter the workload and the club will benefit greatly.
Last weekend saw 3 days of great athletics at the QE2 stadium with the Queensland Junior Championships being held. There were some very exciting performances and congratulations to all TEES athletes who took part. I know injury kept a few of you away, but don't worry as there's always another competition coming up! A special mention must be made of Thompson Estate's newest member, Jared Pascoe. Jared won both the U14 boys 800 and 1500m races and took a 2nd in the 400m. Jared has now qualified to compete at the Australian Athletics Junior Championships to be held in Sydney next month, as have the following athletes who have previously qualified for the event: Vandy Kannah, Kloe Wade, Elise Bourke, Daniel Rolley, Katrina Robinson, Ewerton Almeida and Rifaat Toto. For those of you who choose to compete at Sydney, Good Luck.
Little Athletics will be holding their State Championships next month and several TEES athletes have made it into this event - Daniel Rolley, Jacob Bragg, Katrina Robinson and Christabel Kingdon. The Queensland School Triathlon and Aquathlon Championships are to be held next weekend and at least 3 TEES athletes will be competing there - Samantha Whitting, Jacob Bragg and Sydney O'Reilly.

The Cross Country relays are coming up in April, so it is time to start thinking about whether you would like to be be part of a TEES team. Next month we will try and put some teams together.
